About me, Jere H.

I am a senior full-stack web developer based in Finland. As you might have noticed, I specialize in building websites with Astro and Next.js.

Some quick facts about me:

  • I am based in Tampere, Finland
  • I started my company and freelancing in 2019.
  • I studied at Metropolia, the largest university of applied sciences in Finland.
  • I briefly studied at the University of Cambridge in the UK after being invited to attend a fully sponsored entrepreneurship course.
  • I have worked with clients from 13 different countries, most commonly the US, the UK, and Germany.

I am a developer who other development companies rely on

Around half of my clients have in-house development teams. Those companies typically build B2B or customer-facing platforms or apps, and their developers often lack the time or specialized experience to work on marketing websites. That’s why they hired me: they want someone who specializes in marketing website development, understands technical SEO, page speed optimization, and user experience, and enables their marketing team to manage the website independently.

What this means for you: I have been vetted by tech companies. I do a great job. Whether your company has no developers or a full development team, I can fit into the way you work.

Based in Finland, working worldwide

I provide you web development from Tampere, Finland.

Here are some quick facts about why hiring from Finland is a safe choice:

  • Finland has been an EU member since 1995, with shared EU rules such as GDPR for handling personal data.
  • Finland ranked the world's happiest country in 2026 for the 9th year in a row, according to the World Happiness Report.
  • Finland ranked 3rd out of 143 countries in the 2026 World Justice Project Rule of Law Index. The index considers regulatory enforcement, civil justice, and absence of corruption, all of which help create a predictable environment for contracts and cross-border work.
